>HOW DID YOU GET STARTED? Standing in line this last summer for an hour to get a little acrylic, poorly executed cheek art, thinking I can do a better job than that! I went to the local costume shop, bought some face paints, borrowed some books from the library and offered to do a birthday party for a friend to see if I could do it. After that went so well, I bought a few more supplies and signed up for some local festivals! What a blast, I was hooked! And the timing was perfect, my husband and I had just filed for divorce and I was facing re-entry into the work-force after 8 years. I found something I could do with my years of volunteering with children and art! Yay!> WHAT DID YOU DO BEFORE THAT? Well, I was a housewife and a childrens volunteer for 8 years, before that I was a massage therapist, but I blew myself out on that. Before that I was the proud owner of Generation X-presso and I had my humble beginnings in the restauraunt business as a waitress and bartender. Part-time? you name it, bead maker, scripter, henna artist, muralist, camp counselor...
> WHAT DO YOU NOW BESIDES FACE AND/OR BODY PAINTING? School! Still volunteering... :)
> WHAT PAINT BRANDS ARE YOUR FAVORITES? WHY? I am still new here and trying out the different brands. I started out with paradise and love the smell of it but realized quickly that not everyone else does. So then I bought a few things here and there and my kit looked like a big hodge podge so I wanted to narrow it down. I settled on FX for their great pigment and Wolfe for the strong black and white. I havn't used every paint in every situation yet though, so this may change.
> WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO PAINT? Faces. LOL, just kidding. Um, favorite thing would be anything that I didn't think I could do but pulled off beautifully!
